The BG Legacy™ NEXT UP Challenge is a 30-day proving ground for athletes who want to show they’re serious about work, school, and character. This isn’t a contract. It’s your chance to prove you’re next.

BG Legacy Next Up Challenge

What Is The NEXT UP Challenge?

For 30 days, you’ll show your work on and off the field: training, school, and how you carry yourself. We’re watching effort, consistency, and how you represent your name, your school, and your community. Top performers may be fast-tracked for BG Legacy opportunities.

Who Can Join

This challenge is open to student-athletes who:

  • Are in middle school or high school
  • Play at least one organized sport
  • Are willing to post consistently for 30 days
  • Can represent themselves and their school with respect

You do not need to be a BG Legacy Athlete to join. This is open to athletes who want to earn that opportunity.

Weekly Requirements

Each week, you’ll share 3 pieces of content:

  • Training Clip. Practice reps, weight room, conditioning, or skill work.
  • Student Grind Clip. Studying, homework, note-taking, goals, or planning.
  • “Why I Want to Be BG Legacy” Reel. A short video about who you are, what you’re chasing, and why you believe you’re next.

All posts must tag @thebuffginger and use #BGLegacyNextUp so we can track your progress.

How It Works

Once you complete the form below, you’re officially in. Over the next 30 days, you’ll:

  • Post your weekly Training, Student, and “Why BG Legacy” content
  • Tag @thebuffginger and use #BGLegacyNextUp
  • Stay consistent – even when it’s not convenient

We track your posts, effort, and consistency across the entire challenge. We’re not looking for perfect. We’re looking for athletes who show up and keep showing up.

At the end of the challenge, we review:

  • How consistent you were over the full 30 days
  • How you represent yourself, your school, and your team
  • Your effort and attitude in training & in the classroom

Standout athletes may be highlighted on our channels, invited for deeper conversations, or considered for future BG Legacy opportunities.
